When I put together the back story, Spoken by his third wife at his post funeral memorial, The punchline she gave to his life in general. Is something you'll laugh about for years to come.

Looking forward to that

That final punch line is quite expertly done.

Sad to say,

Many a man ends up this way,

In his mind, just this one time,

Will be only a while, home is but a mile,

I really do provide, just need some fun on the side,

Life is very stressed, I do my best

Just once more, Just once more

Just once more....

You have summed him up perfectly

A story that has been lived and told of, and heard. So many, so close to us.

The struggle between love’s call and temptation’s whisper. May we all find the determination to “just keep on walking” when faced with life’s challenges.

It's actually my father's words. I see that you have subscribed but just to catch you up I found a box of his poems and songs, or should I say it was given to me after he died, and even though I knew he aspired to be a poet and a writer and had heard he had at least one song copyrighted, I had no idea just how much writing he did that none of us ever knew about. I decided that, since he died before the internet, and never got his words and talent in front of a larger audience, I would give him his own space posthumously and add Back stories wherever I knew of the things going on in the background behind the words he put on paper. This is a fun ride, and I'm glad you signed on to come along with me on this journey. I have a lot of admiration and respect for your talent and I'm glad to know you'll get a chance to see the things I come across the deeper I get into this box. The greatest curse of this discovery? Most of it is written in cursive which I struggle to read given my vision issues... Even in his death he continues to give me fits hahaha
